Our client, a major bank in New York City, is looking for hands-on Lead Java Developer Consultant
This role is hybrid commute (2/3 days office/home).

This is 6 months contract with possible extensions or option to hire.
** Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in US   - NO H1 Visa support for this role
Rate: $100-150/h on W2 DOE, possible C2C as well.

Sr Java Developer / Lead Position

Duties

• Hands on Senior Java Developer with over 6 years of enterprise development experience.
• Work with multiple business lines and on occasion manage small projects.
• “FI electronic Trading improvements”
• Work with traders and front office teams to deliver solutions for electronic trading.

Qualifications:

• Experienced Java Developer (JDK 8 or 11)
• REST API (including Enterprise Authentication and Authentication)
• Spring (including Spring Boot and Spring Boot Actuator)
• MS SQL Server experience.
• Experience building and/or maintaining trading software
• Experience building ION integrations.
• Experience facilitating levels streaming to the market.
• Enterprise messaging
• •    REST API (including Enterprise Authentication and Authentication)
• •    Enterprise services (including monitoring, state management)
• •    Spring (including Spring Boot and Spring Boot Actuator)
• Plus: Apache Camel (Version 3)
• Plus: Enterprise services (including monitoring, state management)
• Plus: JMS (Active MQ or similar)
• Plus: Murex API
• Plus: eTrading experience
• Plus: Experience with Capital Markets and understanding how Derivatives instruments are valued.

Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science.
