Our client, a major bank in NYC is looking for Rapid Application Developer with Python skills.

Initial 6 months contract with possible extensions or option to hire.
5 days on-site. Midtown Manhattan Location
Rate: $32h on W2.
Developer position (0-2 years of experience).

Rapid Application Developer with Python Skills.

Responsible for support activities for Murex DEV and TEST environments (Refreshes, Debugging, BAU tasks)

Duties:

Build integration layer within our in-house Python STARK platform to price instruments in Murex and EQL
Maintain Production and UAT Servers dedicated to running Python Code
Assist with code maintenance and refactoring
Build user interfaces to access the above and various other data services
0-3 years of experience

Required skills
-Python
-object oriented programming
-asynchronous programming
-data structures

Preferred skills:
-Experience with derivatives pricing or pricing systems (e.g. Numerix / Murex / QuantLib)
-Development of Web UI
