Position Summary: The RF Product Application Analyst is responsible for supporting Business Unit Teams (5) in partnership with the Sr. Director of Finance through market analysis, product sales forecasting, and market research of application trends, opportunities, and competitors. This role requires collaboration with multiple disciplines and levels of contributors (individual contributors to senior leadership), in order to provide Business Unit Teams with the resources and information needed to meet business objectives.
Job Function:
Analyze, prepare, and present monthly sales analysis for each Business Unit at a market/application, product line, and customer level.
Conduct gap analysis between MCL catalog, competition offering and market needs
Drive comprehensive market research to understand competitor offerings, new RF application opportunities and emerging technologies in the RF space.
Convey market needs to BU Product Marketing (PMM) teams to define requirements, prioritize models, and update product roadmaps based on customer needs
Analyze new product adoption for each BU, market, and application base on sales, open orders and opportunity pipeline.
Support PMM team during the product generation process to validate sales and profitability assumptions
Qualifications:
BS in Electrical Engineering.
RF Coursework highly desired.
3-5 years of application engineering in the RF Industry:
2+ years of experience business or market analysis.
Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel (2 years of everyday experience).
Experience with BI Tools and/or Forecasting Tools.
Strong grasp of business financials.
Demonstrates savvy business judgment and effectively handles tasks under pressure.
Track record of developing strong relationships, ability influence thinking, and drive consensus among a wide range of stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed.
Ability to comfortably and confidently operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional, rapidly changing environment, in both independent and group settings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address the differing issues presented by the customer as well as the business.
