Financial Business Analyst Position Summary:
The primary responsibilities of the Financial Business Analystwill be to support the Financial Business Partners (FBP), and each business unit (BU) team to analyze and monitor Sales trends, Gross Margin, Cost and pricing.
Support FBP to prepare monthly and quarterly analysis focused on: sales, ASP, Gross margin, and COGS.
Support FBP to prepare annual and quarterly budget and forecast P&L focused on Sales, COGS and gross margin.

Roles:
Support BUFP & collaborate with Business Unit members.
Support BU partners to achieve all business plan goals.
Tasks:
Business analysis
Analyze, publish and present monthly KPI (per BU) focused on COGS and GM variance.
Prepare Gross margin analysis including impact from sales price variance, product mix, volume customers, markets and applications.
Bridge Intercompany price structure (for COGS) and local P&L to support better BU leader understanding of their financials.
Analyze review key customer (top 50) annual sales contract margin and provide recommendation to sales and business leader, including customer Margin impact and BU product mix implications.
Planning:
Assist BFP and cost center manager during the budgeting and forecasting cycle.
Assist Business unit Partners in meeting planning calendar deadline.
Support companywide planning process (COGS) using FP&A tool (Prophix).
Support SAP ERP implémentation
Lead and support special projects, miscellaneous financial analysis, and other financial initiatives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
3-5 more years of Finance, general Accounting or cost accounting with:
3 Years in FP&A or cost accounting.
2 years in accounting.
Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel (2 years of everyday experience).
Experience with BI Tools and/or Forecasting Tools.
Strong grasp of business financials.
Demonstrate good personal judgment, and effectively handle tasks under pressure.
Track records to develop strong relationships, influence thinking, and drive consensus among a wide range of stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed.
Ability to operate comfortably, independently, and effectively in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional, rapidly changing environment.
Positive attitude and excitement to contribute and grow!
Familiarity with financial reporting and planning tools is strongly preferred.
Good analysis and problem-solving skills to address the differing issues presented by the customer as well as the business.
