Create, implement, validate, and provide ongoing support of Tableau environment.
Lead response to client or internal requests related to Tableau server, managing company’s server environments, security, and creating automations, performance testing, and other administrator tasks.
Have an understanding of data visualization, analytics, and statistics to communicate valuable insights.
Manage and develop reporting and dashboarding technology.
Lead the administration of reporting and data visualizations
Design and utilize automation methods.
Work closely with data engineers to model data for deliverables.
Write stable, abstracted, reusable and efficient code when needed.
Manage cloud resources for cost and performance efficiency.
Utilize the business intelligence enterprise system software development suite to maintain and publish reports, dashboards, scorecards, and other visual information displays through front end interfaces as well as through application and database programming.
Collect business insight needs from clients, product teams, and other commercially facing business units, and translate those needs to requirements.
Design, develop and validate enterprise reporting, queries, extracts, visualizations, graphs and data mapping for delivery to clients or internal stakeholders.
Work with managers to identify and understand data visibility gaps.
5+ years of hands-on experience in the data/BI space. Advanced development skills in Tableau
Fluent in SQL required.
Extensive experience in Tableau and other business intelligence technologies.
Proven professional constructing impactful data visualization and analyses to drive insights and business decisions.
Understanding of database structure principles required, and understanding of semi-structured, HDFS and semantic structures preferred.
Capable in designing dashboards with superior User Experience.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience with VBA customization required.
Experience demonstrated with Orchestration, Automation and Shell scripting.
Capable with data loss prevention techniques, including data federation, suppression, and masking.
Experience in agile development teams such as scrum and Kanban, as well as DevOps development environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Data Science, Technology and/or other related fields; advanced degrees and/or specializations a plus.
