Data Scientist Consultant

One of our clients, a Global Market Research Company, is looking for a talented  Data Scientist Consultant

6+ months initial contract with possible extensions and/or permanent option.
Remote position.
Location: 100% Remote position

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience with R or Python
• Data Scientist for online pricing and market share intelligence platform capable of creating data models allowing businesses to predict market share for brands and products based on partial and inconsistent data pieces. 
• Product provides online pricing, promotion, and market share information, enabling clients to find market opportunities and to address competitive threats.
• 4+ years of experience in Data Science
• Experience with R&D of model’s strategies
• Experience with Databases (MS SQL Server) 
• Knowledge of GLM/Regression, Decision Trees, Time Series, PCA
• Experience in Feature selection, Transfer Learning, classical Machine Learning, AI techniques
• Designing, developing, training, and testing models and algorithms
• Sales data analysis and Inventory analysis
• Prepare huge datasets for analysis via SQL 
• Analyze algorithms results and build statistic reports via visualization tool
• Communicate with Clients/Sales/Support teams.

A PLUS

• Experience with a visualization tool to Build Dynamic Dashboards
• Familiar with methods of Market Forecasting
• Working with huge datasets

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math or other related areas
