One of our clients, medical devices and services company is looking for an enthusiastic Implementation Analyst / HL7 Interface.

The Location is Northern New Jersey

Hybrid commute - 2/3 days Home/Office.

HL7 Interface / Implementation Analyst

Job Summary

Responsible for providing technical assistance to customers, sales, service, and clinical specialist’s on assigned company products.
The analyst is responsible for generating and reviewing technical documents as required.  
Must communicate well with all levels of engineering, manufacturing, and quality personnel regarding corrective action for field problems and new product development.  

Role:         

• Provide telephone support to customers, sales, service, and clinical staff.
• Responsible for analysis, design, development, and implementation of HL7 interfaces 
• Create and review technical documents as required
• Troubleshoot and investigate field problems – formulate and/or assist other departments in corrective action
• Represent the Service Department on Project Teams for new and existing products and complete tasks required.
• Document all activities and provide timely reports
• Generate Cases to track Technical Support activity for calls.

Requirements and Skills:

• BA/BS Degree or equivalent in Biomedical Engineering, MIS/IS/IT, Computer Science or Computer/Software Engineering.
• Experience in any programming or scripting language. Knowledge of Python a plus.
• Experience in health care application integration and knowledge of HL7 messaging standard
• Experience working with different EMR vendors and/or Interface Engines
• Experience in writing technical documents a plus  
• Occasional travel may be required
