Support Lead / Technical Manager

Support Lead / Technical Manager
Essential Functions:
- Take responsibility for and manage medium to large size development projects.
- Participate in product commercialization planning including product requirements and marketing, time and events schedule, and new product launch “Go-to-Market” plans.
- Participate in development and delivery of technical training for Sales Subject Matter Experts, Technical Support, and Product installation teams
- Provide proactive support of the sales/service/technical support teams.
- Participate in Cross-Functional Team meetings, maintain meeting minutes, and action item lists.
- Participate in product customer complaints team and perform engineering investigations as required that may require on-site troubleshooting.
- Assist with and supply technical and user related product information on Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.
- Provide product installation and planning assistance for Technical Support and Field Service groups.
- Interface with customers / partners / industry standard organizations.
- Participate in identification, selection, verification, and approval for IT components required for North American market.
Position Specifications:
- Knowledge/Educational Requirements
- BS degree in Engineering, Business or related field; advanced degree (e.g. MBA) preferred.
- 5-7 years industry experience, with at least 3 years of project management experience.
- Marketing experience in upstream or downstream role desirable.
- Mandarin Chinese is a plus
