One of our clients, a Global Market Research Company, is looking for a talented  User Interface & Visualization Developer - Consultant
Location: 100% Remote 

Consulting position: Initial term 12 mo. + TEMP-TO-PERM

User Interface & Visualization Developer (Consultant)

Responsibilities:
  • 5+ years of developing user interface and visualizations using JavaScript.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations using JavaScript. 
  • Experience with React is required.  Experience with HighCharts is a plus
  • Translate complex reporting needs into technical specifications, including calculations, custom groups, parameters, filtering criteria, aggregations etc.
  • Recommend best practices from both a technical and process perspective as related to interface and visualization development
  • Tune large datasets for optimal performance and maintainability
  • Adhere to SDLC practices, complete appropriate documentation
  • Troubleshoot issues as they occur, identify criticality and impact, and provide appropriate workarounds
  • Work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously, with the ability to meet reasonable deadlines
Qualifications:
  • Deep experience utilizing Javascript and React.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills with focus on MS Excel and Power Point.
  • Keen eye for detail and thoughtful investigation of data before relying upon it.
  • Strong ability to think through business applications of quantitative work.
  • Creative, curious, inquisitive mindset with a strong, persistent quality orientation.
  • Ability to mine large volumes of data into actionable and accurate information.
  • Effectively communicate ideas and analysis results effectively both verbally and written.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn proprietary software/database applications.
  • Experience in data analysis, custom analytics, or ‘Big Data’ applications within a market research environment a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, economics, political science, psychology, etc.), Master’s degree preferred.
